The Living Menorah (2013)

Designed in Collaboration with Riva Kahn Hallock

The Scaled up Chair is a comfortable seat that represents the ultimate merger of computer‐aided design with handcraft. Its almost 1000 unique stained Birch scales are computer‐designed but painstakingly stitched together by hand to create a comfortable, flexible surface with a beautiful, organic texture.
